Pastor Williams works at a local church where Piper is known to drop off unused food from Quake. Despite reciting off a passage from the bible condemning witches to death he seems to be a very warm and kind young man.

Pastor Williams walks up to Piper's car and taps his umbrella against the door. She jumps in freight and he bends down to reveal himself. Piper is relieved to see him and he asks what she is doing parked outside of his church so early. She talks to him about Mary Estes, and then questions whether "evil beings" can enter the church or not. He laughs and says that he wouldn't risk it. Pastor Williams excuses himself and walks off. As Piper and Phoebe empty out the unused food from the van, Pastor Williams walks up. He's surprised to see Phoebe and they give each other a hug. After Phoebe walks off Piper explains to him that "her friend" might be a witch. She wonders if it's a good thing or not and Pastor Williams asks her if she remembers any of her sunday school lessons. He recites Exodus 22:18 "Thou shall not suffer a witch to live."
